Best brisket I've ever tasted and very reasonably priced.
I hate giving this place such a low review because the food is good but they charge $12 upgrade to put brisket on the loaded fries and provided maybe a single slice worth of brisket. I paid 19 DOLLARS for the pictured loaded fries and they barely included any brisket at all. I sincerely hope this is a rogue employee or something because if they seriously think this is worth NINTEEN DOLLARS then I’m done with them Mr Pete’s permanently.
Everything you want from a barbeque stand/ food truck. Consistency and great service. Egg rolls, pork chop sandwich, wings and loaded nachos are my top favorites and suggestions 💪🏿
This is a food truck, so the rating on atmosphere is subjective. For a nice spring day it was great. The service was very good, friendly and willing to explain the menu for a newbie. As to the food. I got a chopped brisket sandwich and fries, which I took home. Since it was a 25 minute drive to my house, the fries had cooled and were soggy. That's on me and not Mr. Pete. They were well seasoned without being too salty. The brisket was fork tender and piled so high on the bun that it was hard to fit it in my mouth. A good amount of it fell off on my plate. It had a nice smokey flavor and soft texture. It didn't have much sauce on it unfortunately for me because I like a good sauce on my BBQ. If you feel the same, I suggest you ask for some on the side. The customer before me had done that and I should have too. Over all I would recommend Mr. Pete's and will be going back for some BBQ chicken.
Mr Pete can cook some good brisket! I almost passed this place up. I am glad that I didn't. The brisket was so tender it melted in my mouth. I ate 2 sliced brisket sandwiches it was so good. Don't miss out on this place. The owners were really nice and got our food out to us quickly.
Man listen I went through and got the 3 meat plate and it put me in a coma ... woke up and went right back to it. The brisket was amazing. I ate the ribs to the gristle i almost don't wanna tell yall about it cause mo fo me !!! Naw it's 5 star BBQ guys go get some
I just pickup a two meat plate, ribs and brisket with potato salad and beans, bread, pickles, and onions and it was delicious. I highly recommend this barbecue place in Huntsville.
We had the wing basket, sliced beef brisket sandwich, ribs and sausage. Everything was absolutely delicious. Serving sizes were more than satisfying. My kid is so picky but she praised the first bite of everything she tasted. We’ve definitely found a new favorite!
